Data licensing and attribution

Descry’s downloadable geography combines the following sources. These notices apply to the region bundles distributed by Descry and must remain available anywhere those bundles are offered.

OpenStreetMap

Feature data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and is available under the Open Database License (ODbL): https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright and https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/.

Descry’s peak, pass, saddle, and ridge feature tiles are a derivative database produced from OpenStreetMap extracts by the checked-in pipeline in pipeline/. The source code and tile-format documentation in this repository describe the transformations used to produce that database. The distributed derivative database is offered under the ODbL.

Copernicus DEM GLO-30
